1. Membership

The Dothan Boat Club is a private, members-only organization. Membership is subject to approval by the Board of Directors and is governed by the club's bylaws.

2. Dues & Fees

Annual dues are payable on April 1 of each year. A late fee is applied to accounts with unpaid dues after May 15. Memberships with unpaid dues and late fees may be terminated after July 1 in accordance with club bylaws. New members joining mid-year may have their dues pro-rated.

3. Website Use

This website is provided for the convenience of Dothan Boat Club members and prospective applicants. The member portal, including the directory, documents, and calendar, is accessible only to authenticated members. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

4. Communications

By providing your contact information and selecting a communication preference, you consent to receive messages from the Dothan Boat Club regarding membership, dues, events, and club announcements.

• Email: Membership notifications and announcements sent to your registered email address.
• SMS:If you opt in by selecting "Text Message" as your communication preference, Dothan Boat Club may send text messages to your registered phone number about membership dues, meetings, reservations, events, safety notices, and club announcements. Message frequency varies, typically fewer than 5 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to opt out. SMS opt-in is optional and is not a condition of membership.
• US Mail: Physical correspondence sent to your home address on file.

You may change your communication preference at any time in your member profile.

5. Club Property

Members are responsible for any damage to club property caused by themselves or their guests. Rules for property use are established by the Board of Directors. All club facilities are restricted to current members and their invited guests.

6. Privacy

Your use of this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

7. Changes

The Dothan Boat Club reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Members will be notified of material changes via their preferred communication method.
